Jackson & Raylee were both asleep in the car while we were hanging out in Carmel last month, so we did a impromptu shoot of Josephine. It’s been 6 months since her newborn photos, and she has gotten SO BIG! Total side note: if you watched Grey’s Anatomy last night, you may recognize her outfit. Yup, that’s how we roll…

Jo is this happy pretty much all the time- no joke. So if you’re on the fence about whether to have another kid or not, it’s probably not a good idea to babysit her. Just sayin’…

I am beyond excited to share today’s shoot with you all!! Not only is this one of my favorite newborn shoots in a long time; it’s of my sweet new niece Susannah Beth. Outdoor newborn sessions can prove challenging, but the weather was warm, and she slept like an angel.

So on to the images!So perfect, right!?!Love how she is holding her face in this one.I LOVE that her mom thought to bring all these quilts! SO cute!
Susannah, So many have prayed for your parents to be blessed with another child, and now here you are. You are SUCH a precious gift to not only your parents, but to me, your uncle Derek, and your cousins too! We can not wait to get to know your special personality over the years! We love you.

Our aweseome friends Brian and Rachel just recently welcomed their precious little Audrey into the world! They went with the “Tiffanys” /Audrey Hepburn/elegent look for the room… which worked perfectly with the shots we got for her maternity shoot.Meet the sweet pea.I love how Rachel wanted to use the same pearls she wore in her maternity photos; looks adorable!One of my favs to end on.

Well we are off to shoot 2 rad weddings this weekend! We hope your weekend is wonderful too!!

Busy season is in full swing here at Frenzel Photographers, which means LOTS of shoots to blog! And it seems that when we have the most to blog, we have the least amount of time to blog! Haha.. . So here are just a few frames from recent shoots.

I had the chance to capture a baby shoot for one of our 2009 wedding clients! It’s so fun to still be capturing their journey! Meet Taylor.

Congrats to Cat and Kurtis who were married recently in Huntington Beach!

I also flew up to San Fran for the E Shoot of Elizabeth and Greg… such a fun time with them!

We were up in Fresno a few weeks ago to capture Stephanie and Chris’s big day!

Derek met up with Anna and Mike in LA for their E shoot.

And I did the newborn shoot for precious little Audrey!

Catching up with our Family {May and June}

And here’s what the Frenzel Family has been up to in the past month or so…

Raylee turned 3! Yes, our sweet and charming little girl is growing up! At the Birthday girl’s request we had a PajamaRama!! It was a really fun time of dancing, stories, bubbles, and food with some close friends and family.Some fun moments on Mother’s Day.

The kids did a few weeks of swimming lessons. Jackson loved it, and keeps asking when he gets to go again. Raylee was into it the first week, but a little more hesitant the next one. Overall they are doing great! Here’s our little fishies!He was so proud of himself everytime he would go off the diving board!Josephine looking on…We shot this wedding on the same day a family friend got married at the Casino in San Clemente. Joe and I are 2 weeks apart and our families have literally been friends since before we were born; so it was so great to see him and Emma so happy! We were able to attend a bit of their reception before we had to head up to Fresno for another wedding the next day. Congrats guys, we’re so excited for you!!And JoJo just turned 4 months old! I can’t believe how fast that flew! She is now sitting in her little seat to play, belly laughing (which happens to be one of the best sounds in the world), smiley as ever, and she has taken to sucking her thumb at bed time.

Hopefully amidst busy wedding season we can post a little more often on what our family is up to this summer! I hope you are all enjoying the late evening light, warm weather, and getting in some good time with family and friends.

Laguna Niguel Newborn Photographer {Baby Cole}

Meet Little Cole. And when I say little I mean 5 1/2 lbs little! This guy was so anxious to join the world that he decided to make his debut at 34 weeks! He was a healthy 5 lbs. at birth and did great from day one. His proud parents even got to take him home just a few days later! He’s now spending most of his time at home drinking milk to gain weight, sleeping, and being cuddled by mommy and daddy. Enjoy!One of my favs.This is the trunk his parents had guests put cards in at their wedding… so sweet!Lindsay and Nick, Congrats again on your healthy and adorable little man!!

Orange County Maternity Photos {Heidi + Bump}

Today I get to share with you some images from my sister-in-law Heidi’s maternity shoot.

Not only is Heidi gorgeous, a wonderful wife to my brother, an incredible mommy to her 2 kiddos, the best Aunt EVER to my 3 babies, but she is also one of my closest and best friends. She is SUCH a blessing in our family’s life and I am SO grateful my brother married her!

And after a bit of an emotional road here our whole family is rejoicing over the little girl in her belly!

Heidi LOVES her plants and flowers. She’s a great gardener and since she’s growing a little something inside herself… I thought this would be fun.
And a little sass to end on!

Orange County Maternity Photographer {Brian & Rachel}

Some of our dear friends Brian and Rachel are expecting their first child this summer… a little girl!! We are beyond excited for them, and I was honored to capture this special time in their lives. Since they are decorating the room in black, white, teal, and damask; we figured this cupcake shop in Old Town Orange would be the perfect place to start the shoot.

Rachel is so fun and natural in front of the camera; so that made for lots of fun shots!After a costume change we headed out and about to capture some more around the Circle.

You guys are just too cute!! And Derek and I are so thrilled for you and so blessed to be your friends!
