Sweet baby girl,
Today you are 6 months old, and I am sad, and happy about that… but mostly sad.
I wanted you to stay this tiny for longer.
But, I guess you have to start growing up.
What a sweet and precious baby you are.
Your smile is gorgeous and you share it SO freely. That is my favorite thing about you at this age. You make everyone around you smile with how happy and joyful you are. You smile at ANYONE who smiles at you.
I also can’t get enough of your soft squishy cheeks. I love when I snuggle my face against yours and you just keep your cheek against mine… that is the best.
Your brother and sister love you SO much… maybe a little too much at times… but you are tough, and you don’t seem to mind their smothering kisses and hugs. They are always excied to see you and they both love to play with you, read to you, show you toys, and help feed you.
Yeah, you are a big girl now. A big 6 month old who eats rice cereal, has her 2 bottom teeth (they just popped through the other day), belly laughs when we blubble you, says “Da-Da- Da-Da”, and almost sits on her own.
I know you may be in a hurry to be big like J and Ray, but please for Mommy’s sake, slow down and stay my little baby for a long, long time! :))
And to think that I said I was done after 2 kids…
It’s a good thing your Daddy knew our family wouldn’t be complete without a 3rd.
And now that you are a part of our lives, I can not imagine a day without you in it- without your smiles, giggles, and sweet gazes.
I will count every day I am allowed as your Mommy, an honor.
Thank you for being such a precious gift to your Daddy and me. We love you sweet Jojo Bean.
