Young love is awesome. Sarah and I got married when she was 21 and I was 24, so it’s near and dear to our hearts every time we get to be a part of a young couple’s big day. Jeff and Sarah are a couple of youngsters too, and it was so fun to watch their love and energy come out. We braved the mean streets of Old Town Pomona for their engagement sesh…

Yes, those are 5 inch heals that Sarah is running in. She is a champ.

This alley was so cool but so sketchy. In the middle of shooting, a crazy lady literally started cussing us out, and about 5 minutes later, a couple of gang bangers came down the alley in a really shady manner. I really thought I was going to have to throw down for a minute there, but we took off quickly.

We found this totally sweet old brick building that we had to climb through a fence to get to. The cop that drove by 3 times was very gracious to let us shoot there without kicking us out.

This is the front of the building.

Favorite shot of the day.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Sarah is from Nebraska- Jeff is officially adopted into the Husker family.

*Photographers’ Note- I do not advocate taking pictures while driving (especially with a pro camera), but I couldn’t resist with a sunset like this.
