I have been in love since the moment they put you in my arms, but I am especially in love today as we celebrate you turning 2 because…
*You walk up to me randomly and say, “Mommy, I like you.”
*You do “the claw” (from the movie Liar, Liar) well Daddy taught you that and you are SO silly when you run up to him holding up your claw, squealing… “It’s the CLAW!!!”
*You look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I’m cute.”
*You are wild and brave and adventurous.
*you know how to show genuine affection and care at such a young age. Like if Jackson bumps into something and is acting hurt, you’ll run up and rub his back, while saying, “you ok?” or “It’s ok Jackson.”
*you love to “bounce” to the music in the car. And you are good at singing songs.. your favorite is “The Itsy-Bitsy spider”.
*You can communicate so well already… which I’ve been told will come back to bite me later… but for now I love hearing you talk in full sentences. Especially when you say things like, “I’m going to get that car, o0oh-kaay Jackson?!?”, and “Mommy, come sit here, right here.” (while patting the spot next to you.)
*You are SO animated, and such a ham! Thanks for making us laugh all the time with your expressions.
*You love to kiss and hug on me.
*When you are concentrating, you furrow your eyebrows.
*You love to pray… it’s pretty cute how you’ll pray for us to have a good nights sleep at the dinner table.
*Even when you are pouting you are still adorable.
Happy Birthday my sweet, fun, energetic, and beautiful girl! You brighten every day, and Daddy and I are beyond blessed to have you as our daughter!
