I just need to take a moment to brag on my hubby. He is incredibly gifted with workmanship. I’m one lucky girl, who’s got it all in this department… a handyman…check, electrician…check, wood worker…check, car fixer…check, expert assembler/hanger-uper guy…check, and of course my favorite… awesome furniture re-finisher…check! We love to find pieces that look like junk at garage sales and thrift stores and re-create them! Most recently we found this sideboard on Craigslist that was an olive green color and I wanted it turquoise… so Derek went to work. Add some cute knobs from Anthro… and voila!! Oh I should also mention… he also reconstructed that bottom drawer to be a drop down door so our A/V eauipment could go in there! I love it!

And lastly… we didn’t do anything to this except find it, buy it, and carry it to our car, but this is a semi recent flea market find that I am just in love with!
Does anyone have a favorite thrift store or flea market they go to? Or blog they visit for decorating ideas? I am always looking for new ones!
